My Background
I am Dr. Roslyn Reece, PHD, LMFT
With over 40 years of education, training and experience in the field of psychology and providing mental health therapy. I hold a Doctorate of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology with Emphasis in Depth Psychology (PHD) and a Master of Arts Degree in Counseling Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), with over 15 years experience as a Child Protective Services Social Worker, many years of experience as an adult therapist to women who experienced and transitioned from domestic violence relationships, also; many years of experience working with those who are impacted by dual-diagnosis and homelessness. Additionally; I've provided professionally managed supervised family visitation monitoring and most recently employed with California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation as a staff psychologist at a level 4 women's facility and a male substance abuse treatment facility. Currently I am owner of this private practice offering telehealth and in-person therapy to individuals, couples and families.
My Approach
I believe that every individual has the potential to live a fulfilling and purposeful life. My approach is centered around helping my clients cultivate self-awareness, identify their values and goals, and create actionable steps towards achieving them. I am committed to providing a safe and non-judgmental space for my clients to explore their inner world and work towards their desired outcomes. I have developed a unique approach to Life Coaching that combines evidence-based practices with a client-centered focus and solutions focused approach.

I offer a range of coaching and support services, including one-on-one therapy sessions, group therapy, job skill building, computer training and transitional housing opportunities. My areas of expertise include domestic violence supportive services, stress management support, supervised parent-child visitation services, work-life balance support, career transitions coaching, and personal growth coaching.
